Sales Representative

Prescott, AZ 86301

Employment Type: Permanent Position Function: Operations Job Number: 16810735

Job Description

About Our Client

Our client is a results-driven, family-owned landscaping and construction firm that has evolved into a premier team of industry professionals. Operating with a meritocracy-based philosophy, they prioritize performance and professional standards over traditional seniority. The company has built a culture centered on mutual respect, professionalism, and a genuine passion for the work, fostering an environment where team members are excited to contribute to the organization's rapid growth. With a focus on high-quality residential and expanding commercial sectors, they maintain a strong local reputation backed by exceptional community engagement and a commitment to employee well-being.

The Opportunity

This is a production-focused role for a motivated Sales Representative to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closing. You will be responsible for driving revenue across residential and commercial service lines, focusing on high-value projects such as hardscapes, turf, and custom installations. With an average deal size between $30,000 and $40,000, you will have the opportunity to manage a robust portfolio with a minimum annual sales target of $1.5 million. This role offers the autonomy to work in the field and the potential for high earnings through a performance-based incentive structure.

The Location

The role is headquartered in Prescott, AZ, and serves the broader Yavapai County area. Prescott is a thriving, affluent community that offers a rich environment for sales professionals due to its rapid growth and a high volume of residential and commercial development. The territory includes scenic communities like Sedona and Flagstaff, where the company is already establishing a significant presence and signing major residual maintenance contracts.

What You Will Do

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new residential and commercial clients through a combination of company-provided leads and active prospecting.
  • Conduct on-site consultations to understand client needs and develop tailored proposals for construction, pavers, turf, and outdoor living spaces. Perform "boots on the ground" lead generation, including door-knocking at neighboring properties around active job sites to build local relationships.
  • Manage the full sales cycle independently, ensuring a high close rate and accurate project estimation.
  • Maintain an active and accurate pipeline within the Aspire CRM system to track follow-ups and client interactions.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations and project success.
  • Proactively upsell additional services to existing clients by building long-term trust and rapport.
  • Participate in early morning team stand-ups and maintain a professional presence in the field.

Who You Are

  • A motivated sales professional with 2 to 5 years of experience; however, high-aptitude candidates from diverse industries are encouraged to apply.
  • A "hunter" with a results-driven mentality who is also deeply relationship-oriented.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and a professional, "clean-cut" appearance suitable for high-end residential consultations.
  • A team player who is willing to share work, collaborate with peers, and avoid "hoarding" jobs for the betterment of the team.
  • Highly organized with a strict commitment to following up on leads and quotes within a 24-hour window.
  • Comfortable spending the majority of your day in the field, meeting clients at their properties rather than in a traditional office setting.
  • A quick learner capable of mastering industry-specific software and technical product knowledge within a few weeks.
The Ideal Candidate is a personable and professional individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You are not an aggressive, high-pressure salesperson but rather a consultant who understands client needs and provides expert recommendations that add value to their property. While experience in landscaping or construction is a plus, your aptitude for reading blueprints or your ability to learn technical details like hardscapes and irrigation is more critical. You are someone who takes pride in your follow-up, understands that "lost emails" are a missed opportunity, and is eager to hit an achievable $1.5 million+ annual sales quota.

Why Join the Team?

This organization provides a unique opportunity to work for a local market leader that values its people and invests in their success. You will be supported by a robust marketing budget that ensures a steady stream of leads, allowing you to focus on building relationships and closing deals. The company culture is built on merit and professionalism, offering a stable environment without the "drama" often found in smaller firms. You will be provided with a company vehicle and gas card for field use, and you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI tools and CRM technology that streamline the quoting process. For top performers who meet their targets, the company offers flexibility for remote work and significant opportunities for career advancement.
