About Our Client

Our client has been a stable and growing business since 1988. The company recently grew its revenue from approximately $5.7 million to over $7 million this year , with an aggressive growth plan to reach $10 million next year. The culture emphasizes qualities like being a hunter, having no ego, productivity, and face-to-face communication. The sales team consists of four sales representatives plus a sales manager.

The Opportunity

This is a critical, full-time, in-person role for a professional who is committed to being an exceptional Prospector/Hunter. The position is vital to achieving aggressive sales growth and expanding the customer base. The company is motivated to fill the position quickly, aiming for a target start by January. The role requires managing a territory within a 60 to 75-mile radius around Tarpon Springs, FL.

What You Will Do

The core function is sales for fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems, along with other low-voltage work. You will be expected to:
  • Meet sales goals and commitments.
  • Generate new business through personal contacts, general contractors, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Manage a sales cycle typically ranging from one to six months.
  • Work with an average deal price from $15,000 to $275,000.
  • Write proposals and work closely with technical and operations teams to prepare accurate quotes.
  • Manage accounts targeting medium-sized businesses such as assisted living, multifamily homes, healthcare facilities, and hotels under four stories tall.

  • Sales experience in medium to high-dollar capital equipment sales.
  • A track record of hard work that produced real results.
