Pre-Sales Solution Consultant

Remote, US

Employment Type: Permanent Position Function: Sales Job Number: 16784516

Job Description

About Our Client

Our client is a premier global Digital Product Engineering firm that has been driving innovation since 1996. With a workforce of over 18,000 experts worldwide, they specialize in building high-scale digital products and services that define modern user experiences. The organization is characterized by a dynamic, non-hierarchical, and entrepreneurial culture. Currently, they are in a significant growth phase in North America, recently surpassing the $1.1B revenue milestone with a strategic long-term goal of reaching $10B in the next decade.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Consultant dedicated to addressing core challenges within the US Public Sector. This is a pivotal role focused on designing and optimizing digital business solutions that drive efficiency and innovation across government agencies. This is a Functional Consultant + Pre-Sales hybrid designed for someone who can bridge the gap between complex business problems and conceptual solutioning. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating high-level technical capabilities into tangible business value for executive and agency stakeholders.

What You Will Do
  • Discovery & Strategy: Lead discovery sessions, conduct needs assessments, and perform gap analyses to identify agency pain points like legacy system modernization and digital transformation.
  • Solution Framing: Shape the solution concept and develop tailored proposals that demonstrate improvements in government performance and transparency.
  • Sales Support: Support the sales process through high-impact product demos and "visual storytelling," working alongside account executives and architects.
  • Proposal Orchestration: Participate in the RFP/RFI process by extracting requirements and helping shape the overall response narrative.
  • Thought Leadership: Build trust-based relationships with government clients and contribute to the public sector community through workshops and speaking engagements.

Who You Are

  • You have 9 to 16 years of relevant experience, while prior experience in the public sector, non-profit, or education verticals is valued, but not required.
  • Possess a deep understanding of public sector procurement, compliance, and regulatory environments. Experience in the education or nonprofit sectors is also highly valued.
  • While not an architect, you have the "technical domain fluency" to understand platforms at a high level and explain them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor s degree in Engineering is required.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives on "narrative strategy" and "consultative solutioning". You are someone who enjoys the "discovery" phase of a deal digging into the "why" of a problem - and can lead a workshop or a demo with ease. You are result-driven, resourceful, and passionate about advancing public sector missions through ethical and innovative service.

Why Join the Team?
  • Impact: Join a growing team the client is currently expanding their US Public Sector support by adding two new hires.
  • Support: Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
  • Urgency: The team is looking to fill this role ASAP.

Tabatha Valentin-Elliott
National Talent Acquisition Recruiter

Tabatha Valentin‑Elliott serves as National TA Recruiter at Naviga, bringing over eight years of recruiting experience, more than four of which have been dedicated to executive search in both corporate environments and agency settings. She joined Naviga in September 2024, and leads national-level recruitment assignments for global organizations.

With deep expertise in sales leadership and management hiring across industries including SaaS/technology, legal, professional services, and material handling/logistics, Tabatha excels at identifying leaders who align with both functional and cultural imperatives.

Her career path includes leadership roles in customer service, retail, medical manufacturing, and sales. At Medtronic, she served as Head Recruitment Chair for an employee resource group, spearheading diversity and inclusion initiatives and gaining critical insight into the real-world pressures of hiring and retention. This experience refined her approach to aligning candidate capabilities and cultural fit, especially under tight timelines and complex stakeholder dynamics.

Tabatha’s executive search methodology emphasizes trusted partnership with hiring managers and recruiters. She invests time upfront to understand each role’s specific business priorities, team dynamics, and any past recruiting challenges. One standout placement involved a Finance Director role in an M&A context, which required coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups. By aligning priorities and influencing budget decisions, Tabatha helped secure a candidate who delivered immediate impact and exceeded expectations.

In her work, Tabatha helps clients overcome a common obstacle: inflexible expectations. Leveraging market intelligence, candidate feedback, and hiring trends, she provides consultative guidance that helps clients adapt and stay competitive in talent acquisition.

Outside her recruiting practice, Tabatha is passionate about baking and mastering the science behind it—and brings that same curious, precise mindset to every search she leads. She describes herself as a “matchmaker of sorts,” specializing in connecting candidates and clients in ways others might overlook. For Tabatha, the most rewarding aspect of her role is creating win‑win outcomes: helping companies scale with top talent while supporting candidates through often stressful career transitions.
