Our client is a trusted, family-owned supplier of capital equipment and engineered solutions with 20 locations across the United States. Known for their commitment to customer success, innovation, and quality service, they are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking experienced Outside Sales Representatives to help drive business in key markets.

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an Outside Sales Account Executive to drive growth in the market. This is a unique opportunity to build a territory with the full support and resources of an established market leader. You will be a key player in their expansion, responsible for prospecting new clients, managing the full sales cycle, and contributing directly to the company's growth targets. You will be a vital part of a collaborative team while working independently to achieve your goals.

What You Will Do

  • Grow the Business: Prospect for new clients through cold calling and networking to expand the company's presence in your assigned territory.
  • Consultative Selling: Analyze customer-specific needs and provide tailored equipment solutions, selling a mix of new, used, and rental material handling equipment.
  • Manage Relationships: Maintain and deepen relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and renewals.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date on current equipment values, market trends, and financing options to provide expert advice to your clients.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with a Regional Sales Manager for strategic alignment and support on complex deals, ensuring you have the resources needed to close business.

Who You Are

  • A proactive and results-driven individual with a minimum of 3 years of B2B outside sales experience.
  • Proven ability to close complex, long-cycle deals.
  • Experience in the material handling equipment industry (e.g., lift trucks, aerial lifts, racks) or a related industrial equipment or rental industry is highly preferred.
  • A self-starter who can work independently in a field-based role and manage your time and territory effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
