The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a highly entrepreneurial Channel Sales Manager to spearhead the expansion of their channel partner network. This pivotal role will focus 75% on hunting and signing new partners, with the remaining 25% dedicated to keeping current partners engaged, motivated, and growing.

You ll be instrumental in shaping a new market, providing valuable market intelligence to guide U.S. strategy, and building strong, lasting partner relationships. This includes recruiting, onboarding, and managing key relationships to position our client s brand as a premier name in the U.S. cybersecurity industry.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy to expand the U.S. channel partner network, with a primary focus on acquiring new partners and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
  • Identify, target, and secure new partner partnerships through proactive prospecting, networking, and industry outreach.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new partners to ensure alignment with brand standards and product expertise.
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with existing partners to drive sales growth, product adoption, and brand loyalty.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to provide insights that inform U.S. sales and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create partner-focused programs, promotions, and sales tools.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and partner meetings to promote products and strengthen market presence.
  • Monitor partner performance, set sales targets, and implement strategies to meet or exceed goals.

Ideal Candidate Profile We are seeking a Channel Sales Manager with proven experience in the cybersecurity industry, ideally with a background at a manufacturer or partner in a similar capacity. Candidates from parallel industries such as enterprise software, IT services, or SaaS solutions who have successfully built and managed channel networks will also be strongly considered.

Quickly recognized for her adaptability and broad skill set, Janice transitioned into a permanent role where she has taken on a dynamic range of responsibilities, contributing to many areas beyond traditional recruiting.

Before joining Naviga, Janice amassed over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, and management. This extensive background enables her to bring a fresh and innovative perspective to talent acquisition, challenging conventional approaches and driving continuous improvement. Her willingness to step up — whether managing marketing projects, improving KPI reporting, or supporting visual branding with content creation — has made her a versatile and invaluable team member.

In her current role as Associate Director of TA, Janice focuses on strategic sourcing, comprehensive KPI reporting, and administration of Naviga’s Applicant Tracking System to optimize process efficiency and data integrity. She also supports the firm’s operations by troubleshooting and managing logistics, and often fills in as a graphic designer to support the firm’s visual communication needs.

Janice embodies Naviga’s culture by fostering open, honest communication and bringing a balanced mix of professionalism and approachability. She values the firm’s culture of autonomy and inclusivity, appreciating the trust and freedom Naviga provides its team members to take ownership and innovate.
