Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Structural Steel Sales Estimator to join our team. This role is crucial for growth plans and will combine technical estimating expertise with a sales-driven mindset. You will play a key role in producing accurate and timely bids, managing a high volume of bid invitations, and strengthening relationships with our general contractor (GC) clients in Florida. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of estimating at least $6M annually and is ready to take ownership of their work and contribute to our expansion.
The ideal candidate is currently an estimator for a fabricator doing business in Florida. You are not just a technical estimator but also a business partner who is ready to build relationships and proactively follow up on bids. You thrive in an environment where you are empowered to make decisions and take ownership of your work while contributing to a high-performing team. Preferred experience in detailing or with engineering drawings and a proven history of successfully networking and generating opportunities with GC partners.
