The Opportunity

This is a key leadership role contributing to making the company a leader in the material handling industry. The Regional Systems Manager will build business and manage, and grow the Systems Division sales and service within the assigned territory. The position involves driving the growth of material handling Systems & Automation product sales by participating in the sales cycle and teaming with Solutions Consultants. You will be responsible for providing the highest levels of customer service and systems & automation support throughout the entire project life cycle. You must ensure that systems & automation projects, objectives, and targets are met. A core responsibility is to create and design warehouse systems and racking solutions to optimize clients internal processes.

What You Will Do

The Regional Systems Manager is a critical role blending sales, systems design, and project management.
  • You are responsible for meeting all sales goals by developing sales strategies, techniques, and tactics. This includes presenting and explaining the financial benefit of proposed systems by showing return on investment (ROI) to customers.
  • You will be responsible for the timely delivery of all project correspondence, including drawings, letters, equipment lists, and purchase orders. This involves collaborating with the Auto-Cad team to produce accurate drawings , and also reading, auditing, and approving blueprints for current projects.
  • You must be willing to travel up to 80% to customer sites throughout the project life cycle for presentations, installations, and to maintain positive relationships.
  • You will act as a Subject Matter Expert in Racking, Mezzanine, shelving, conveyor, and allied equipment projects. You will also have Direct Reports, specifically Regional Systems Associates

Who You Are

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, results-oriented professional with a strong background in material handling systems and sales.
  • 3-5 years in material handling and equipment sales with a proven track record of growing sales volume is required.
  • Must possess knowledge of the material handling or static warehouse solutions industry, including racking, mezzanine, shelving, conveyors, and allied equipment.
  • Experience working with basic financials, including ROIs and proving profitability to customers.
  • A Bachelor s degree in Business Administration/Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must possess strong technical skills and understanding of systems and automation.
  • Solid Auto-CAD knowledge with the ability to read, audit and approve blueprints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiating skills.
  • Consultative abilities to assist customers in identifying requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.
